Take care of ourselves to help others

Therapists are human

Statistics show that therapists usually burn out within 7 years.

This is not okay – what the heck is happening?!

It’s hard for me to imagine, as I get to live my best life every day being a therapist.

What is going wrong? We need more therapists that love what they do – that’s part of how success in therapy happens!

I am hosting my first therapists retreat this weekend (which sold out, yay!) in hopes I can start teaching therapists how to move through their career with joy, energy and most importantly – how to remember on the hard days that what we do does matter.

Therapists are human too, with their very own stories. They need the support just as much as the next person.

We have to take care of ourselves to help others – no matter who we are or what we do.
