To Be vs To Do

As the world is being asked to “Be”, I find my self being asked to “Do”.

I’m wondering—in all that is happening in the world right now—if those of us that need to slow down and “be” will find ourselves in that place, while those of us who need to speed up (for reasons I can’t know) will also be put in positions to “Do”.

It’s such a confusing time for so many people. There is so much happening that is out of our control.

So, I surrender to what is, accept what I don’t understand and do the next best thing.

I help where I can and I accept the places where I can’t.

I keep asking myself, “In a year from now, how will I feel about the decisions I made today? Who do I want to be? What role do I want to play?”

I want to be a peaceful presence, the calm in the chaos. And most of all , I want to continue to see the love that exists through all the fear and behaviors that come with it.
